TYSA embraces the values and skills gained from football which are applicable in daily life situations.
These include: - Mutual Respect, Fair Play, Problem Solving, Effort, Tolerance and Teamwork among others. Through football, we bring the desired social changes in the community.
We strive to make education accessible to majority of our beneficiaries. Annually, over 50 boys and girls including those with disabilities benefit from our education scholarship. To date over 150 students who had dropped out of school amongst them, teenage mothers have been re-admitted back.
TYSA endeavor to offer safe spaces for children. Our child focus programming has succeeded to bring the attention of parents, community and learning institutions to support and protect children rights.
TYSA girls Resource Centre offers a unique opportunity for the rural girls to meet, share experience and restore their lives. To date 70 girls have accessed training at the centre while 200 are projected to access it annually once fully equipped.
TYSA Endeavors to eliminate gender disparity through increased accesses to Education and Capacity Building opportunities for girls.
