Education
We strive to make education accessible to majority of our beneficiaries. Annually, over 50 boys and girls including those with disabilities benefit from our education scholarship. To date over 150 students who had dropped out of school amongst them, teenage mothers have been re-admitted back.
TYSA believes in Education. It is one of its pillars. For the children and Youth to participate in our Programs, one must be in school.
Over the years, we continue to witness high school retention of our beneficiaries.
This was not true few years ago.
Beneficiaries and parents continue to embrace the importance of education.
School Fees supplementary Support

Majority of the beneficiaries are from very poor families; single parents, alcoholic and sheer poverty.
School Placement Support
Trust has been built between TYSA and schools. This has led to more beneficiaries having schooling opportunity. We work closely with different schools to help the beneficiaries' access education. We negotiate with the schools to understand the beneficiaries' background and offer them opportunities to realize their talents including sporting
Monitoring of Beneficiary Educational Performance
Our beneficiaries in schools are monitored by the Education and Football Coordinators to ensure their performance is supported. We have witnessed that our beneficiaries offer high competition both in class and extra-curricular activities. Their discipline is good.
